The Black Desert in Egypt is something to see. Most people visit the Black desert on their way to the White desert ironically. The desert as you can see is not black per se but is covered in small black rocks which contrast against the orange sand.
The Landscape is desolate and gives you a sense that you are on another planet. This photo was taken at a quick stop on the side of the road on the way to a look out point. Don’t forget to bring items to protect your camera gear. The wind blows strong and sand is a killer on any electronic equipment.
