I have traveled and photographed all over the world for the past 10 years having visited and photographed over 40 countries.
My passion for photography has evolved over the years. Traveling to some the most beautiful and exotic places on the planet as well as meeting some of the most inspiring people in my life. It has had a profound effect on how I approach my photography.

My photography is: Capturing day to day life as it unfolds in some of the most interesting places in the world.

I spent 15 years mastering the art of light and shadow as a Gaffer in the film industry. I have lit some of the biggest films in Hollywood and have over 30 films to my credit. I have taken my knowledge of lighting movies and applied it to creating texture, mood and contrast in my stills photography.

I am currently a full time travel photographer, spending an average of 8-10 months of the year on the road. Part of my time is spent passing my knowledge on to aspiring photographers through Photo Tours.

This website will showcase my photography as well as give everyone an insight of what trials and tribulations you deal with being a travel photographer. It will also offer invaluable information regarding gear, tips of the trade and how to apply them in the field.
